| I never imagined that I would have an online business specializing in natural and organic sleep products. It began when my husband and I bought a new memory foam mattress. I was very worried about the horrible smell of the memory foam, so I did some research to find out what the smell was. I found that memory foam, and, in fact, all conventional mattresses are made with very toxic chemicals and they off gas these chemicals for a long time. Even cotton sheets are treated with formaldehyde as a wrinkle reducer. We breathe these chemicals all night long as we sleep. I began to realize just how important it is to sleep naturally, on a mattress and with bedding that is not made with toxic chemicals. As a mom, I also realized how important it was to keep babies and children away from these chemicals. I realized that I could start an online business that I could be proud of and that would help others. I am very excited that we can offer a product that is not only healthy for people but also healthy for the environment; everything at The Natural Sleep Store is made from organic and sustainable fibers.
In 2005, I opened The Natural Sleep Store. We are primarily operating as an online business at http://thenaturalsleepstore.com. We offer natural and organic mattresses, organic sheets, organic pillows, and organic comforters. For baby, we carry natural crib mattresses, organic baby sheets, organic baby blankets, and organic baby clothes.
