In Sweet Company
IN SWEET COMPANY is based on the work of author, corporate consultant, and popular speaker Margaret Wolff. Margaret leads women's spirituality retreats around the country based on her best-selling book, In Sweet Company, Conversations With Extraordinary Women About Living A Spiritual Life. The book is a compelling collection of intimate conversations she had with 14 notable women about how their spiritual life nourishes them and serves as a dependable compass for all their decision-making. Participants include Olympia Dukakis, Katherine Dunham, Margaret Wheatley, Sister Helen Prejean, Riane Eisler, and 9 other religious leaders, activists, and visionary thinkers from a variety of sacred traditions.

IN SWEET COMPANY RETREATS AND WORKSHOPS provide resources -- models, skills and inspiration -- that help women, no matter what their spiritual tradition, find their unique voice, integrate their spirituality and life experience into their daily lives, and begin to live with greater meaning and purpose. Personal reflection, interactive exercises, storytelling and group discussion are used as stepping stones to help participants take stock of their knowledge, skills, resources and dreams, and reframe their lives in ways that feed their soul. Programs are offered in a variety of formats and are adapted to meet the needs and interests of each learning community. Retreats include: SPIRIT AT WORK: Making Your Work and Your Life Be About What You Value Most; LISTENING TO YOUR INNER VOICE; WOMEN IN SPIRIT: The Emerging Face of Women’s Spirituality; INNER CONFLICT RESOLUTION; FORGIVING YOURSELF AND OTHERS; and WOMEN AS PEACEMAKERS.

Margaret holds degrees in Art Therapy, Psychosynthesis, and Leadership and Human Behavior. Her 25-year career includes writing for numerous national and international publications, and facilitating over 250 adult education programs. In 2002, she traveled to Geneva as a delegate for the UN conference, The Global Peace Initiative of Women Religious and Spiritual Leaders, the first international gathering of women religious leaders, scholars and activists in history.
