Hello, my name is Nichole and I was wondering if you knew of any helpful websites/organizations that could help me find a job in some kind of women's organization. I am currently volunteering for the YWCA rape crisis center and would like something along those lines in a paid, full time position. Even as a receptionist - anything to get my foot in the door. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Nichole

Thanks for your note to FEMINIST.COM. As for getting a job in a pro-woman place, here are my suggestions:

--If you live in New York City or San Francisco, there is a place called The Foundation Center, which often has job listings for progressive places.

--I have heard that idealist.com is a great source for jobs.

--Often the best place to find a job with a woman's organization is through an existing woman's organization. Check-out listings at the YWCA and/or ask people there for sugggestions.
