Women's History

For my English class, I am doing my research paper on Feminism as portrayed in the Age of Innocence during the 1870s. I would really appreciate it if any of your staff could help me in my search or be willing to be interviewed, via a chat room or the like. I want to find out as much information as possible and I feel you could give me good facts and details. Thank you.

For a start on your paper--besides a basic library search--I would check out the book A History of Their Own edited by Bonnie S. Anderson and Judith P. Zinsser. Also, please contact the National Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, NY at 315-568-8060 and the National Women's History Project in Washington, DC. There is also a great documentary on the suffragist movement in England--"Shoulder to Shoulder". It was put out by the BBC (British Broadcastng System) and there is a book to go along with it.
