Women's History

Hi, my name is Tom and I teach 6th grade in Fairfax, VA. I'm trying to find a collection of historical speeches for my students to re-enact and, unfortunately, I have had a hard time finding a sufficient number from significant women. Do you know of any web recources where I may find such information? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tom

Thank you for your note to FEMINIST.COM and for ensuring that your sixth grade class has an inclusive perspective on life. For starters, I would contact the National Women's History Project, which should have historical speeches or be able to point you to the right resources.

I hope this helps, but if not, please let me know---I'm sure I can come up with something else.
