Women's History

Hello, I'm doing an extra credit project for my English class about Women in the Middle Ages. I have looked and looked thru the Internet, but I don't know where I can find out about the status of women in the middle ages of Europe. Please help me.

Here are some ideas of where you can look for more info on women in the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance.

Books:
Making of the Modern Body by Gallagher/Laguer (California Press)
Renaissance Notion of Woman by Maclean
History of Sexuality by Michel Foucault

Literature: Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser
Hero and Leander

Historical Tracts: Daemonologie

Hope these leads help! Good Luck on your project!
