Where can I find information on literary breakthroughs in the history of African American women's literature?

Try individual African American writers who have made those breakthroughs -- Alice Walker, Toni Morrison. Also try centers for African American thought such as the Shoenberg Center and the WEB Dubois Center at Harvard.

Good luck,

- Amy
