Women's History

I currently am doing research for a class essay and seem to be stuck. I am Interested in finding different feminist issues that are happening today and that also reflect issues involving women that were happening all the way back to the 20's. If you have any advice or ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much and I love your site.

I would say that the main parallel between 1920s and today is voting rights for women -- then it was getting the vote, today it's getting women out to vote. Also, reproductive rights. In 1916, Margaret Sanger was illegally importing birth control and today President Bush is making other restrictions on women's reproductive rights. I hope that helps.

Good luck,

- Amy
