not sure whether you are looking
for shelters in general or specifically
domestic violence shelters.
If it is the latter, you should
pick up Donna Ferato's book
Living with the Enemy,
which is complete with photographs
of first hand accounts of domestic
violence in the home. These
photos are also available in
the 1994 Sept./Oct. issue of
Ms. Magazine. Since October
is Domestic Violence Awareness
Month, you should also contact
the "Domestic Violence Awareness
Month Project" about what they
have available in terms of visuals.
Ask them specifically about
the material available through
the Family
Violence Prevention Fund.
