contacting a domestic violence
shelter in your area. I'm sure
they always need more volunteers.

in your area, let me know and
I'm sure I can track one down
(you might try our searchable
Database
of Women's Services under
"Shelters for Battered Women".
You can also contact the Family
Violence Prevention Fund.
They have a national network
of "shelters" and other organizations
that work within the area of
domestic violence.
