Hello, my name is Benna and I am a student at Lincoln Park HS in Chicago. I am doing a project for the Chicago Metro History Fair on Jane, the underground abortion service in Chicago in the late 60's, early 70's. I was writing to inquire after whether or not you would either have any information or know of where I could obtain some information about the group. Thank you very much.

Thanks for your note. I have two suggestions about where/how you can learn more about the Jane Collective. The first is a video called "The Jane Collective"--this was produced by two young women in the Chicago area--Kate Kertz and Nell Lundy. Maybe information will lead you to them. Also, there is a book by Laura Kaplan, who was one of the founders of the Jane Collective. It is chock full of information. I hope that helps--and enjoy. I loved learning about their work - it is so important.
