Reproductive Rights

Dear Amy,

I am looking for an interesting film on reproductive rights to show at a local coalition's Roe Anniversary event. Can you give me any suggestions? Also- if you know anything about the copyright permission needed, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

There are several great films that focus on reproductive rights and that would be a perfect match for your event:
From Danger to Dignity, a film trilogy by Dorothy Fadiman, which historically examines the movement from the beginning of this century until today. The film was produced/distributed by Concentric Media.

On Hostile Ground, directed by Jenny Raskin and Liz Mermin and produced by Catherine Gund/Aubin Pictures -- and I believe distributed by Women Make Movies. This looks at the recent assault on abortion doctors.

That should be a start. Good luck with your event

- Amy
