Hi my name is Vikki. I am 16 and doing a research project on feminisim. I looked through your site and got lots of cool information for my articles portion. But I was wondering if you could give me any ideas of good feminist movies. I have seached everywhere for something for my report and can't find anything that can be found at my local video store. Actually I could use anything on feminism that you could offer me. So if you would help me it would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time and for the great information that has helped me a lot!

Thanks for your note . Here are some suggestions of feminist films:

1.) A Question of Silence
2.) GirlsTown
3.) Thelma and Louise
4.) Little Women
5.) Fargo
6.) Go Fish

Think of all of the different components that make a film feminist--what role do women play, who was it directed by, how does it portray men, does it perpetuate race/gender stereotypes? Use your gender lens.
