I have a friend who is a single mother of four and she would like to move into a home, however, her income of only $35,000 in the Denver area makes it a near impossible task and the children's father is a man running from his responsibilities. So what I was hoping your organization would do is give some information about programs are organizations, whether they're government or private, that might be of some help to her. Thank you.

Thanks for your note and for helping your friend. Unfortunately, we don't have information on home-owner loans, etc... I suggest that you contact the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Office (HUD). There should also be a state office, too. You might want to look into programs such as Habitat for Humanity, too. (They are based in Atlanta--and help low-income families build their own homes.)
