Hey Amy!!!

I'm a student in London and I need your help. I'm in a dilemma! I have this major coursework that I have to do and it revolves around how much are portrayals of lesbian relationships designed to fulfill male fantasies? I would be really grateful if you can help me.

Thanks.

Certainly not all lesbian portrayals are done for men's benefit, but, yes, there are too many that are. Especially those that really just flirt with the idea of a lesbian relationship--like two girls kissing or anything that focus on the act itself, not the relationship or the individual/s.

Good luck -- Amy
