I am a summa cum laude graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with a B.A.in architecture (May 1995), and have been working as a junior architect with the Pakistani architectural firm of Nayyar Ali Dada and Associates since then. I was accepted at Yale University and U.C. Berkeley for a Masters in Architecture, Professional degree, focusing on affordable housing for developing countries for Fall 1998. Unfortunately, I could not attend either school because of financial reasons. Since there is no possibility of any govt. aid from Pakistan due to financial emergency after the nuclear tests, I would be grateful if you could send me information on any scholarships/financial aid that you offer for an international student like myself.

Thank you for your note to FEMINIST.COM and congratulations on all of your accomplishments. I will mail you information about the Third Wave Foundation (a national organization for young feminists) and specifically an application for our scholarships for young women. Additionally, I recommend that you contact The Foundation Center--there is an office in New York, San Francisco and a few other cities. They have information on other scholarships, including those geared toward foreign students. That might be your best bet.
