Can you name any specific ways third wave of feminism has helped teenage girls?

What do you think are the major issues that teenage girls face today? ...

I think that Third Wave feminism has helped girls in the same way that every wave of feminism helps people in general -- giving them a vocabulary to name the problems in their lives, giving them resources to create alternatives and giving them confirmation that they aren't alone.

When it comes to issue that girls face -- eating disorders, feeling like an outsider, being raped or abused, dealing with school or divorce or not having ambitions that match those set out for us.... all of that has been tackled in the Third Wave through books, organizations, etc.. that deal with this.

I hope that helps.
