OUTRAGEOUS RULING ON CHILD RAPE IN MARYLAND

Saying "it takes two to tango," Judge Durke G. Thompson handed down a very light sentence (18 months in jail) to a 23-year-old man who sexually molested an 11-year-old girl. In defending the sentence, the Montgomery County, Md. judge said that he did not think the girl was free of fault, and the case was not unique in dealing with the "age old problem of how to deal with pubescent and even prepubescent women and older men." Tell the judge that the "problem" should be dealt with as the child rape that it is, and prepubescent 11-year-olds are not "women," at 240-777-9190; fax 240-777-9104.

UPDATE! JUDGE "REGRETS AND EXPLAINS"

Thanks to a national outcry by WFF readers, Judge Durke G. Thompson, who sentenced a child-molester to 18 months and remarked that "it takes two to tango" regarding the 11-year-old victim, has removed himself from the case. He says he regrets his words and impression they gave. AMEN.
