Call your soul to you right now. All you
need to do is think of it, and invite it to join you. Some people imagine their soul as an enormous light, surrounding and penetrating
their physical body like a sphere of light all around them. However
you picture or sense your soul is fine.
As you blend with your soul,
let it sound a note of joy that reverberates throughout every cell
of your body. Permit this new vibration of joy to stimulate and activate
your DNA, the cellular code of your body. Allow it to open you to
a new level of joy, your souls joy. You need not hear it, sense
it, or feel it for your souls note of joy to be sounded and
to have an effect.

Sense how beautiful and
perfect you are as a soul; how full of joy and love. The world of
the soul does not know sorrow or pain. It knows only love, joy, and
bliss. You can bring your souls joy into your daily life. You
can stop struggling. You can trust that the universe is perfect and
that it is always working for you. Joy comes when you understand that
everything that happens in your life is brought to you by your soul
and Higher Self to assist you in growing stronger and in evolving.
Joy comes when you decide to grow through joy and to bring joy into
Your attitude determines
how you experience the world. It is the way you react to life. An
attitude that creates joy is one in which you interpret what happens
to you through the filter of joy. Your attitude is expressed in the
words you use when you talk to yourself. Perhaps you have just succeeded
in achieving a goal you have wanted to accomplish. A joyful attitude
says, "Congratulations, job well done."
If your joyful self speaks
words of praise it helps you bring more of the same to yourself. Attitudes
are magnetic and every moment you spend in joy magnetizes another
moment of joy. Joyful, light emotions are always more powerful in
their ability to create than negative emotions. Acknowledge the joy
you already have in your life, and you will feel it even more often.

What brings joy into your
life? Do you know? Are you aware of that which makes you happy? Or
are you so busy fulfilling your daily obligations that you put off
to some future time those things that make you feel good? Joy is a
feeling in the present moment, not something you will have in the
future. Are you holding an image of what life will be like some day
when you are happy, but not feeling that sense of well-being right
You may have many reasons
why you cannot change your life right now and be happy. If you do
not begin to create reasons why you can, change will always be a future
thought, and you will not be on the path of joy. Take a moment to
pause, go within, and decide if you want more joy in your life. Do
you intend to have it?
To have more joy in your
life, you may need to open to receive. Your soul has so many gifts
for you. All you need to do is open to receive those gifts. You can
begin to imagine joy, peace, and harmony as your birthright. Focus,
clarity, and love are available for the asking. Request joy from your
soul, and it will send it to you. Pause right now, ask your soul to
send you joy, and let joy pour into your being.

You can know the joy and
perfection of your being. Believe that the universe is perfect and
is always working for you. Recognize that everything that is happening
in your life is for your higher good, even if you cannot understand
Let go of being a victim,
and know that everything that is happening is something you have drawn
to yourself to help you become stronger, more whole, and closer to
your soul. Stop blaming others or the universe. Instead, affirm that
you are the creator of your life, and that you can create any life
you want for yourself.
Every time you think of
something that makes you feel sorry for yourself, or makes you hold
a negative picture of yourself, stop! See what good you created from
that experience. It may be that you learned so much that you never
again brought that kind of experience into your life. It may be that
because of that situation, you changed your path. It may have helped
you develop new qualities and personality traits. You may have served
and assisted others.
Find something good in every
situation. Rather than focus on what is wrong in your life, focus
on what is going well for you. Look at what you are learning from
an event, how it is making you stronger, and the gifts it is bringing
you. Take a situation you dislike and say, "In some way I dont
yet perceive, this situation will give me many wonderful opportunities
to grow and bring me many blessings." As you say this, you create
it as so.
Listen to the quiet, reassuring
voice of your soul. It is that still, quiet voice of peace, that reassuring
voice that tells you everything will be all right, and that the universe
is working for you.

it sees the beauty and perfection of your being.
Another way to know the
joy of your soul is to love and accept yourself, recognizing the beauty
and perfection of your being just as you are right now. You do not
need to change to be lovable. Sense your souls love for you.
There is nothing you could do that your soul would not love, for your
soul knows only love. It loves you just as you are, with no exceptions!
Think of everyone as a crystal,
unique and beautiful in his or her own way. There is no crystal that
is not beautiful, that does not reflect light. In addition, imagine
that you as a crystal are becoming more beautiful and perfect at every
moment, with more light and all the colors of the rainbow pouring
Forgive yourself for anything
you have done in the past that you do not feel good about. No matter
what your past was like, view everything that happened to you as something
created by your soul to assist you in evolving. Change your negative
memories into positive understanding. As you do, you release the pain
and open to your path of joy.

Let go of any fears or beliefs
that the future will be worse than the present. There is a mass thoughtform
that the future will be worse than the present, and that change is
bad. It leads to a need to hang on to what you have, and brings pain
rather than joy. Embrace the new, and believe that the future holds
joy and promise.
Open up to the idea that
you will be wiser, stronger, and more powerful tomorrow and that whatever
you create will be even better than what you now have. Keep a picture
in your mind that the future is positive and that it will be better
than anything you have ever known.
You can have more joy by
giving yourself freedom. Freedom is an inner feeling. It is the ability
to choose what you want. It is the knowledge that you are the captain
of the ship. Freedom is knowing that you own your own life, that you
are the one in charge. Freedom is essential for joy, for anywhere
you feel trapped you cannot experience joy.
You can learn to create
joy in your life by feeling inner peace. Each time when you choose
to feel good about yourself, even when someone is criticizing you,
putting you down, or acting in a way that you used to respond to with
pain, you are choosing joy. Each time you do you create freedom in
your life. You are free from having to have other people act in certain
ways for you to be happy.
Appreciate all that you
have. Focus on what is working in your life and it will increase.
You have so much to be grateful for. You have the ability to create
anything you want; the only limits are those you create for yourself.
Wake up in the morning and decide you will experience joy today. Your
joyful presence assists others to complete their daily responsibilities
with more joy and lifts everyone around you higher.
Put a smile in your heart.
Last but not least, dont
take yourself so seriously. Laugh and play. It is not the end of the
world if something does not go right. The quality of humor is perhaps
one of the greatest doorways to joy and self-love. Laugh, smile at
others, and put a smile in your heart.
Today affirm that the universe
is perfect. Believe that the universe is working for you and that
everything is happening for your good. Notice if you are struggling
or efforting, and stop! Affirm that you want to grow through joy,
and sound your souls note of joy. Believe that you can live
a joyful, wonderful life, and start right now to do so. Decide what
is next for you to do that would bring you joy. Then, do it!
Play: Knowing Joy-Recognizing the Good in Every Situation
To experience joy is to know
that the universe is friendly, and that it is always working for and
with you. Think of a current situation you do not like in your life,
and recognize the good in it by doing the following:
1. Believe that you have
created this situation to learn from, even if it seems that you have
nothing to do with its creation.
2. Affirm that the universe is perfect, and that it is always working
3. Sound your souls note of joy, and decide that you will grow
with joy rather than through struggle or pain in this area.
4. Say to yourself, "This situation is offering me many blessings
and opportunities to grow stronger and more whole within."
5. Think of at least one soul quality (patience, love, forgiveness,
humility, compassion, and so on) that you are more able to express since you drew this situation to you.
6. Send your love and forgiveness to anyone involved.
7. Love and forgive yourself for having created this.
8. Make a picture that you will experience the peace, joy, and serenity of your soul in this area, no matter how the situation evolves or changes.
9. See yourself gaining these soul qualities and learning your lessons
through joy in the future.
Play: Creating Joy-Focusing on the Positive
You can grow through joy by
appreciating and focusing on all the good things you have in your
life. Answer these:
1. I appreciate these wonderful qualities in myself:
2. List at least three things you appreciate about your life, that
you can acknowledge that you have created.
3. Write down at least three things in your life that are going well,
that you feel good about.
4. Acknowledge several good things about yourselfyour body,
emotions, mind that you appreciate.
5. Think of a friend or loved one. Acknowledge several good qualities
or aspects of this person that you like and appreciate. Mention these
to this person the next time you see him or her.
6. Reflect on an important relationship. Think of or list at least
two aspects of your relationship that are working well for you.
7. Notice how good
you feel as you appreciate and acknowledge all the good in your life.
As you do, you are sounding your soul's note of joy, adding more joy
to your life and to the world.
