Wrap-N-Mat
Wrap-N-Mat Stay-at-home mom of four, Bonnie Smith is the creator of Wrap-N-Mat. Wrap-N-Mat, Inc. (WNM) is the innovator of the reusable food wraps industry. Bonnie is a business graduate of Cal Poly University who sacrificed her career with Time Warner to raise her kids and support her now ex-husband's career growth.

Back in 1997, Bonnie and her family planned a hiking trip in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. While packing lunch she ran out of plastic sandwich bags so she improvised and grabbed a paper towel and masking tape. The concept worked great but the sandwiches were dry so she started cutting and sewing prototypes of wraps that could be reusable and effective. While the kids were in school or napping, she tried lots of shapes, materials and linings. Bonnie found using a food-safe plastic lining kept air out and the bread soft and moist over just using fabric alone. Ultimately the octagon shape worked best and provided a great placemat. No more worries of where they were going to place their sandwiches and cookies!

Providing safe and sustainable products has been the business strategy and an ethical imperative here at Wrap-N-Mat, Inc. since its creation. Passing all CPSIA requirements, our products are free of lead, phthalates, PVC, BpA, and formaldehyde. Wrap-N-Mat, Inc. is a privately held 100% woman-owned corporation. As a pioneer in the industry, creator and inventor, Bonnie prides herself on providing only the highest quality products at reasonable prices. Believing that the customer is always right, the standard in providing the best customer service hasn’t wavered in over 14 years. Since WNM began they have offered "Made in the USA" products that are hand cut and sewn by American women; additionally WNM strive to purchase only "Made in USA" raw materials whenever possible. As an advocate to empower women to fulfill their dreams, WNM and Bonnie are proud sponsors of a Colorado non-profit organization, Athletics & Beyond, who host yearly Girls Empowement Workshops for girls ages 6-18. As last year's guest speaker, Bonnie encouraged the young women to dream high and achieve big without any compromising your own self-worth.
