started Positive Energy fourteen years
ago, because I felt very strongly that
the world was headed down the wrong
path. We were using up valuable resources
at an alarming rate. I believe that
it is possible to have many of the conveniences
we have come to enjoy, while caring
for our planet. The answer is to use
technology to help us find ways to live
comfortably while using a minimum of
energy.
Originally formed as a woman-owned
sole propiortorship, Positive Energy
Conservation Products is now a woman-owned
corporation. We publish two catalogs,
one for non-profits, mainly Weatherization
Agencies that make low-income peoples's
homes more energy efficient, the other
for homeowners and contractors. The
later version is online at Positive-energy.com
as the Green Builders Catalog.
The Green Builders catalog contains
products that are high quality, make
economic sense, and are hard to find
in the typical retail store. In addition
to saving energy, all of our products
uniquely increase the comfort of the
dwelling i.e.fans are super-quiet,
water-saving showerheads massage,
mastics are non-toxic. Sidebars educate
the reader about why that type of
product is an important addition to
the home. Catalog items include low
energy ventilation fans and fan related
products, sealing products, setback
thermostarts, water saving products,
demand water heaters, compact fluorescent
bulbs and lamps, and CO detectors.
