PeopleTowels is the newest category in sustainable products; reusable pocket-sized personal hand towels made of 100% organic, Fair Trade cotton. They have unique designs and make an eco fashion statement hanging from a purse, backpack, or back pocket. The Japanese, who are well ahead of the US in all things sustainability, have been using personal hand towels for decades.
Eco-conscious consumers who carry their cloth grocery bags, changed their light bulbs to CFLs, and refill their own reusable water bottles, will now B.Y.O.T. (bring their own towel) to prevent deforestation, and reduce the waste and pollution associated with single use paper towels.
PeopleTowels was born out of the environmental concerns of two women and the effects of pollution and waste on our children and future generations. We founded PeopleTowels because we believe that every person can have a positive impact on the environment by making small lifestyle changes. As members of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our profits to environmental nonprofits, such as the Breast Cancer Fund.
