Please can you give me some information about which are the main problems that working women face and the measures that could be taken by the state.

Working women face several problems. Historically the problem was simply access: women weren't permitted into certain fields. That's less of a problem today. The larger problems are pay — both how much women make comparable to men in the same field, and how much women-dominated industries make compared to male dominated industries.

Another issue comes with the introduction of children and who is responsible for childrearing and how much employers are supportive of that. Harassment — both blatant harassment and even more so subtle attempts to undermined a woman's contribution. In terms of laws....Family Medical Leave Act could be extended to smaller businesses as well as include paid leave. Also harassment laws could be expanded. I hope that helps...that's a start.
