Women's History

A book called New Generation Diet (translated from English to Chinese), stated that in the past woman was not considered to have a soul according to the Catholic religion. After a big discussion and voting, the woman-bears-soul side barely won. I'm doing a research paper on how religions misinterpret the Bible and restrict the right of individuals to interpret the Bible in a different way. I would like to locate information about this.

Thanks for your note to FEMINIST.COM--and for clearing up all of the misinterpretations that go on around the Bible. Some great sources for this are Catholics for a Free Choice -- also a great book by Karen Armstrong on God.

I hope these help--and thanks again for showing where the error happens, which isn't at creation, but at the Vatican
