I am doing a research paper on Betty Friedan. I was wondering how I could get in touch with her or find out some information about her early years and successes. Thank you! - Jennifer

To find out more about Betty Friedan - in addition to the basics of reading her books - I suggest that you contact NOW - the National Organization for Women. She was a founder - I think founding president. Their national office is in Washington, DC at 202-331-0066. Her most recent book was published by Simon & Schuster so they may know how to get in touch with her. They are based in New York City. For her work in the "early years" - I know there are a few anthologies that include references to her.
