Hi. I am researching rape for a self-defense class project. I have had a very difficult time finding any information pertaining to lesbian rape. This is an issue which is very important but little information is available. I would very much like to see FEMINIST.COM provide links that access information on lesbian rape. Thank you for your time.

For information about "lesbian rape" I suggest that you contact a few places:

1. LAMBDA Legal Defense and Education Fund (#212-809-8585)
2. National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (based in Washington, DC)
3. Hetrick-Martin Center, based in NYC.

You might also check out some of the other Gay/Lesbian links listed under our Reproductive Rights and Sexuality section for more ideas. I hope these help.
