your efforts to help battered
women. There are two possible
ways to find a shelter in your
town -- either look up "shelters"
in your yellow pages and see
what you can come up with, or
contact the Family
Violence Prevention Fund.
They are a U.S. based national
organization with an 800 number
that can link you to shelters
in most communities in the United
States. Although their work
is U.S. focused, I would think
that they could either put you
in touch with an equivalent
organization in Canada or directly
with a shelter in your area.
If none of the above works out,
please let me know and I will
send other suggestions. Good
luck with your project and your
work.
