Where can I find information about the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)? Thanks for your time and help!

The best source for learning about the Violence Against Women Act is the Family Violence Prevention Fund and/or the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund - both are responsible for VAWA's passage and the language included in it. Also, there is VAWA II, which is being stalled in Congress. The passage of this bill will not only help expand all of the great things that came out of the first round, it will protect immigrant women and provide greater training to emergency room physicians. Good luck on your search for information
