Ask Amy,

I am in college and I am doing a paper on Latino Feminism Lesbians. I was wondering if you have any information on this subject? If not, can you direct me to a good source of information so I can do my paper. This is my first semester back to college in over twenty years. Right now I am a little stressed out about writing this paper. Also last year I had inflammatory breast cancer and still feeling the affects

The class I am taking is a women studies course on women writers of color. I could really use your help. I am not getting much help from others. They just say you can make it through the semester.

Right now I am so tired I don't know what to do.

Bonnie

Dear Bonnie,

I hope this isn't coming too late -- you should check out the work of Daisy Hernandez, and specifically the anthology she edited "Colonize This" -- you will also find others in the collection "This Bridge Called Home." I hope that leads you in the right direction.

Good luck,

—Amy
