I am looking for people to fund research in the area of HIV diagnosis in 45-60 year old women. I am exploring a partnership with a local non-profit who believes there are some trends indicating there may be a growing population of undiagnosed HIV positive women in this age group.

Do you have any recommendations?

Pamela

When you say local I can't tell if that means Indiana -- which is where I think Ball State is. If yes, you should certainly reach out to Eli Lilly -- they fund so much in that state, most of which revolves around women's health.

Also, I would try the Ford Foundation, but only if it's a larger effort -- and the Commonwealth Fund and Tides and the Ms. Foundation for Women -- those should lead you to others, too.

Good luck,

— Amy
