Feminism

I am a student at Lafayette High School and I have chosen to do a project on feminism. I was wondering if you could send me different poems that are written about this topic over the Internet. Thank you! - Kelly

Thanks for your note. As for poetry on the Internet--I'm not sure. However, there are a few great books of feminist poetry that you can find at the Feminist.com Bookstore (under "Fiction").

The best one would be Cries of the Spirit edited by Marilyn Sewall. There are also collections by Alice Walker....most notably Her Blue Body Was Everything We Knew. There is also Afrikete, which was edited by Catherine McKinley.

I hope these are a start.....good luck.
