Hello there! Wow. What a great site you have. You do an excellent job of keeping it fresh and up-to-date. Much better than most on the web. Perhaps I missed it, but I was looking for a raw number of how many universities have women's studies programs. Is that number handy? Thanks and best wishes.

Thanks for your note and for all of your "words of praise." They are much appreciated from all of us here at FEMINIST.COM.

As for women's studies departments - I have seen that number referenced somewhere...hmmm...For starters, I would contact the Barnard Center for Research on Women (c/o Barnard College/Columbia University, New York, New York). I would also try the American Association of University Women (1111 16th Street, NW; Washington, DC 20036; 202-785-7700).

Good luck and if you find this, please let me know--thanks.
