I'm researching feminism and promiscuity for my sociology assignment and was just wondering what your thoughts were on this sort of issue.

Can women lead promiscuous lifestyles whilst still maintaining feminist values? In the sense of feminist values towards sexuality and the like. Do you have any possible references for a topic like this as well? That would be great!

The feminist writer Naomi Wolf has a book on just this topic called Promiscuities. Leora Tanenbaum's Slut similarly tackles this topic. It's all a matter of how you are being promiscuous and if anyone getting hurt in the process.

Are the motivations purely yours or fitting a stereotype or trying to feed insecurities? These are certain questions that one has to consider when one is approaching it from a feminist standpoint.
