Feminism

Hi Amy,

I want to know how feminist view lesbians? What are there opinion or is there any resentment or hatred towards lesbians in the feminist culture?

Feminism, as a social justice movement is entirely intertwined with the gay rights movement. In terms of personal opinions when it comes to lesbians, I think that varies. I don't think that any feminist would ever orchestrate a campaign against lesbians, though some feminists resent the automatic assumption that feminists are lesbians and that gay rights are the top priority within some feminist communities.

In general, however, that opinion is a minority and most people know that the struggle for liberation be it based on gender or sexuality are interlinked. I hope that helps.
