The White House Project will be conducting
a national ballot
for female Vice Presidential picks
in Parade Magazine. The 14 women
featured are from both parties (two
are unaffiliated). Project President
Marie Wilson says the opportunity to
vote for up to
5 women will increase awareness
of the leadership qualities of American
women with the credentials to be on
the national Presidential ballot --
WFF thinks it's
an excellent way to make both parties
aware that it's
time for a woman on the ticket.
