It was a sense of idealism and commitment to women that launched Feminist.com, a not-for-profit organization, over a decade ago. However, women and girls cannot be supported through idealism alone. When Feminist.com was founded more than 10 years ago, it was one of the FIRST web sites for women and girls, but it was the ONLY web site providing a free online home for other non-profit organizations that lacked the resources for sites of their own. Since that time, Feminist.com has not lost sight of its original mission; today, most organizations have web sites, but Feminist.com continues to serve the community by promoting partner organizations' work, highlighting their important initiatives, and making it easier for you and others to access their resources. This helps the organizations AND Feminist.com visitors alike.

Our purpose is and always has been to help individuals and organizations find each other and the information and resources they need to improve their lives and situations. On any given day, we introduce women's studies majors to Gloria Steinem through her online Inspiring Conversation, lead rape survivors to our Anti-Violence Resource Guide, help men find their feminine voice, publicize Equality Now's and other organizations' latest campaigns...and the list goes on and on.

Despite very little funding, we've accomplished a great deal, but there's so much more that we can and want to do. We need YOUR help to get to the next level!
